An XL Macron Polo shirt with the number 15 and Scotty has been kindly returned to us by Bladley Stoke Leisure Centre. If anyone would like to claim it please get in touch with Steve Brown (chairman) alternatively it will be paraded at the next club meeting in February.

For the second month running there has been a disappointing number of members attending the club meeting. Please remember that it is a "club meeting" so someone from each team whether it is a coach, parent or even a player should attend, with this in mind there is no excuses for any team not being represented!

Stoke Lane is pleased to announce their new online shopping estore in time for the
Christmas shopping period - www.spendandraise.com/stokelaneshopping in order to raise funds for the club.
Anyone can shop and find lots of great offers from 1,000 retailers such as Marks and Spencer, John Lewis,
Sainsburys, Debenhams, Hamleys and Sky and so you’re donating money to Stoke Lane in the form of a

To date, we’ve raised £59 for our Club and are aiming to raise a further £500 by May 2012.
Steve Payne Club secretary explains that: “This initiative offers us all the opportunity
to generate funds to support the running of our club. There’s a wide range of products
available and they include a lot of well-known retailers and providers of services.
Raising funds is becoming more important for the club and we will be investigating
ways in which we can increase traffic and spend in the run up to Christmas.”

NEW HEAD COACH AGREED
In line with the FA/GFA guidelines Stoke Lane has now put in place a head coach. The role will help develope new coaches joining the club and any young players who want to aspire to coach, they will mentor existing coaches and run courses to make sure Stoke Lane are at the forefront of coaching knowledge and techniques.
