Dear Club Members,
We now look back on our achievements for season 2011/2012 and I am pleased to confirm we have achieved our Charter Standard Accreditation.
Please make sure all ( invoices plus match fees), overdue monies shall need to paid in full at the Club meeting on THURSDAY 10th MAY 2012. Failure to do so will mean the club officers will NOT affiliate your team/squad to our Governing body (GFA) this will result in your team/squad not being able to participate in playing any football games friendly or in a league.
Many Thanks on behalf of Club Officers

Stoke Lane Athletic Girls Football Festival
Friday 9th March saw 35 girls take part in a brilliant afternoon of football which included skills sessions as well as matches and the opportunity to meet girls from other schools.
The festival marked the end of a girls football project to promote Stoke Lane Athletic FC. A mixture of GFA Skills Coaches, BAWFC Coaches and Stoke Lane FC club coaches delivered the festival, which was enjoyed by all.
Female football player Ann-Marie Heatherson delivered four weeks of girls football coaching in local primary schools. The aim of the project was to engage the girls in football and offer them the chance to play more football outside of school. A school-club link was set up to support the club with the recruitment of female players and volunteers for next seasons U12 girls team. As part of this project the club has linked to four local primary schools.
Stoke Lane Athletic Football Club currently have 18 teams and run female teams at U13, U15 and Adult Womens. The Club hold the FA Charter Standard Club Award demonstrating the highest commitment to the delivery of quality coaching by FA qualified, CRB checked coaches in a safe and nurturing environment.
